Alpha hydroxy (AHA)is composed of glycolic acid + citric acid. Glycolic acid smoothes the appearance of wrinkles thanks to its exfoliating property. It brings volume to the skin as well as a plumping effect. This lotion is concentrated with 15% AHA dosed to deliver enough glycolic acid while maintaining the optimal pH of its highly concentrated formula thanks to citric acid.

The Shea butter is present in the composition in order to hydrate, repair, soften and smooth the skin. It is particularly rich in oleic acid and contains natural antioxidants such as vitamins A and E that will fight against cell alteration and prevent pigmentation spots.

Glycerin has tensio-active and emollient properties to overcome skin dryness and acts as a cement reconstituting the corneal layer on the skin's surface.

Glycolic Acid

Glycolic acid is a fruit acid obtained from grape, beet or sugar cane extract. Its very small size allows it to have a very good penetration in the skin to effectively stimulate cellular activity.

Glycolic acid removes dead skin cells from the skin's surface. This keratolytic action significantly improves the texture and appearance of the skin. It also plays a role in the synthesis of hyaluronic acid by providing a wave of hydration to the skin's surface, which balances the epidermal barrier. Glycolic acid helps to evenly distribute melanocytes, the melanin cells that color the skin. The skin is evened out, brown spots are reduced, and the complexion is lightened. This high-performance active ingredient stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, providing a firming and toning effect.
