• Arbutin: i Effectively inhibits tyrosinase activity and, consequently, melanin production. Due to structural similarities with tyrosinase substrates, arbutin acts through a competitive binding mechanism in the active regions of the enzyme.

In addition, arbutin has the ability to inhibit the DHICA Polymerase product (5,6-dihydroxy-indole-2-carboxylic acid) resulting from the oxidation of tyrosine. 

• Glycyrrhiza uralensis (liquorice) root extract: inhibition of the enzyme tyrosinase, and a slight reduction in melanin and colour precursors.  Liquorice extract also has anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting superoxide anion synthesis and cyclooxygenase activity.  Anti-aging effect to effectively absorb UVA and B rays. Anti-radical.

• 3-O-ethyl Ascorbic acid: The depigmenting activity of ascorbic acid is due to both its tyrosinase inhibitory action and its ability to reduce dopaquinone to DOPA, which can also prevent melanin formation.

• Cromabright ™: inhibits tyrosinase activity. Significant depigmenting effect in melanocytes. It produces a powerful skin whitening effect in vivo. • Oligopeptide-50: Inhibits melanin synthesis by inhibiting tyrosinase. Changes the morphology of melanocytes. Induces reduction of melanin synthesis and melanosome formation in melanocytes. Inhibits the expression of the melanogenesis marker.

• Oligopeptide-34: Inhibits melanin synthesis. Reduces tyrosinase activity. Produces a decrease in melanosome formation in treated melanocytes.

• Oligopeptide-51: inhibits the expression of the melanogenesis marker. Inhibits melanin synthesis. Induces morphological changes in melanocytes.

• Glutathione: Glutathione has a reducing SH group. This functional group can form a complex with copper and reduce dopaquinone. Glutathione induces the formation of pheomelanin from dopaquinone
