The active ingredients in mandelic acid break down intracellular bonds, stimulating collagen synthesis and cell regeneration. It has a bacteriostatic effect that regulates oily and acne-prone skin. It inhibits melanin synthesis and helps renew skin damaged by sun exposure.

Mandelic Acid Peel 45% properties MCCOSMETICS

Mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid derived from almonds, one of the largest AHAs, so it penetrates the skin more slowly, making it less irritating.
