Dermaroller: The first steps
You must be careful about the product you buy, the purchase of a Dermaroller is not done at random. You should know that as a private individual, for a safe use and without risk of injury, the maximum needle length to choose is 0.3mm! So yes, it's tempting to buy a multi-head Dermaroller but it's not wise to do so, it's better to use the dermaroller properly than to risk damaging your skin.
For the number of needles, you can choose between the face roller with 540 needles or the body roller with 1200 needles and a larger head.
Once you have carefully chosen your Dermaroller, it is time to use it!
It is always essential to clean your Dermaroller thoroughly before using it for the first time.
Disinfect it with a standard disinfectant spray. Once the roller is well soaked, rinse it with hot water and let it dry. Do the same with the Dermaroller after use.
This method avoids any risk of bacterial contamination.
Dermaroller - Microneedling: Skin preparation
Once the Dermaroller is clean, it is the skins turn to be prepared. Remove all make-up from your face and apply a disinfectant compress to remove any bacteria that may be present.
Apply the serum of your choice all over your face, soak your Dermaroller with it too, and start practicing the proper movements!

Be sure to roll 8 to 10 times over the area to be treated. The movements should be repeated horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Vary the direction of rolling (up and down, left and right or diagonally)!
